Our Staff

Deanna is a native Houstonian (by way of Germany, where her parents were stationed). She is a member of the Real Estate, Probate and Trusts, Construction Law, and Women in the Law sections of the State Bar of Texas.

Her love for all things real estate began at an early age. She  browsed the real estate section of the Houston Chronicle each Sunday over coffee since the age of 9. 

After studying English at the University of Texas, Austin,  and studying abroad at Braesnose College, Oxford University, England; Deanna returned to Houston for law school. In 2001, Deanna was admitted to the State Bar of Texas. She has practiced law since then, and works primarily in real estate law. She also pratices business law and is a ceritifed Guradian Ad Litem in Texas.

She is a member of the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate and Trusts section. She is a published writer, a law review essay has been cited by the U.S. Department of Commerce.  

In addition to work, Deanna is an artist, writer, and proud mom! She loves travel, music, reading and can discuss politics ad nauseum. She also enjoys spending time with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Axl, who works side by side with her. She loves to travel (especially to places with gorgeous beaches) and to volunteer in her community.

Her dream is to develop a fantasy Congress league. Her favorite sports are billiards and bargain shopping, the latter being the only sport  where she excels naturally. She watches golf and baseball to participate in office betting pools.  She steadfastly yearns to be admitted to MENSA, but has not yet taken the requisite exam...
